E.L. says adios to BTB Burrito

In addition to saying good-bye to friends, roommates and classmates before heading home for Thanksgiving, students were forced to part with another cherished staple at MSUBTB Burrito.

After three years at their East Lansing location, 403 E. Grand River Ave., BTB Burrito closed its doors.

Thankfully, students still have Chipotle and Qdoba Mexican Grill close by.
While the owners of BTB Burrito were unable to find someone to take over the franchise, they had no problem selling their property. Another business will most likely be up and running in January.

For a supposed food and fitness reporter, you do a pretty crappy job. Chipotle and Qdoba, is that all you can highlight about EL’s eateries, two crappy chains?

El Azteco is right up the corner and doesn’t even get mentioned. What’re you going to review next, the fine cuisine at McDonalds and Burger King?

How come you never make post about fitnessing? You always make dumb post on chocolate bar, or granola rules, but not bout getting shaped? Note even post about egg roll!

You do only 50% of your job, and badly too. Get with it or I bet boss go all firey, firey wit you.

I agree, what horrible posts. I check back to State News once in a while to see what’s going on in EL and get this crap. She’ll probably get a job at GM and we’ll all be paying her to do nothing like everyone else. Keep up the good work over there.

Not to mention, if its only been in EL for 3 years its not a STAPLE. Johnny Spirit is a staple, the old guy that yells “eat ‘em up, eat ‘em up, rah, rah rah” at the hockey games is a staple, Paul, the guy that does his own personal bar crawl 5 out of 7 nights, solo – he’s a staple too.
