R. Kelly hopes to bump tainted jurors as trial grinds

There seems to be a holdup for the jury selection in the R. Kelly child pornography trial.

In light of a recent Chicago Sun-Times article surrounding the case, the attorneys and judge involved feel it’s unlikely to find unbiased jurors who can deliver a fair verdict. After the article was released, the defense is hoping for yet another delay in jury selection.

To think after six years of R. Kelly jokes, commentary and LimeWire.com downloads to check the tape’s authenticity — it would be difficult to get someone who actually believed he was innocent. I thought the judicial trial process was supposed to be fair and speedy.

If it took six years after his indictment to start the proceedings, were they actually surprised to find it difficult in selecting a jury that didn’t know anything about R. Kelly and the sex tape? I propose the best method in selection is start rolling the tape back, establishing who used that teenage girl as a urinal cake.

Honestly, it’s almost like public opinion has deemed him guilty anyway, from Dave Chappelle’s “Piss On You” skit to pedophiliac comparisons to Michael Jackson. It’s almost like you’re being biased if you think he is innocent.

After all, look at his underage marriage to the late great Aaliyah. The evidence is mounting, I don’t even think another six minutes will help his case.

Hey, R. Kelly, take notes from T.I., just plead guilty.
