Magical night coming to Wharton Center
Abracadabra. The magician reveals your cards in his hands.
As a child, and for a few adults, seeing is believing when it comes to the realm of magic. Sunday, Wharton Center will host the World’s Greatest Magic Show.
The show will present exotic animals, sleight-of-hand tricks, illusions and death-defying acts. This is the second year in a row the show won the International Magicians’ Society’s Show of the Year.
Tickets can be purchased at the Wharton Center box office. Students can purchase tickets for $15; however, the public tickets range from $15-$35.
The closest I’ve ever been to magic was in high school. A fellow classmate would show off his impressive magic tricks, which still have me questioning just how he made the colors in a book disappear. It’s a safe bet that I will check out the magic show this weekend.
