Arts & crafts show to be at the Union this weekend
With finals coming up, many students won’t want to go out and party it up in the fashion that MSU has earned a reputation for. So why not take advantage of this weekend’s opportunities to do otherwise?
The 45th annual Holiday Arts and Crafts show will be on four floors in the MSU Union from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
Sponsored by the Universities Activities Board, the show will feature pottery, jewelry, photography, clothing, home goods, stained glass and much more.
You could also get some useful holiday shopping done at the show. Instead of getting your family and friends boring standards, why not get them one-of-a-kind pieces? It’s just one more opportunity to get grandma a more thoughtful present than your brother.
The event itself has no cover and all money raised will go to hosting free events around MSU, so it’s really a win-win situation. You get a fun afternoon and the next time you go to an MSU activity, you can tell your friends you helped pay for it.
