Bachelor auction, jazz performance round out E.L.'s holiday festivities
For those lonely on the holidays with a little spare cash and don’t mind paying for a little company, Mid-Michigan’s 1st Annual Charity Bachelor Auction Benefit will be from 6-9:00 p.m. Monday, Dec. 15 at Dublin Square Irish Pub and Grill Banquet Hall, 327 Abbot Road. All of the proceeds from the event will go to the Saint Vincent Home for Children.
Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the door. Advance tickets can be purchased by calling Kimberly Graham at (517) 749-8888. Appetizers, door prizes and gift bags will be available for the first 50 people to arrive, so make sure you arrive extra early.
After a stressful week on final exams, and in anticipation of the stressful holiday season, this is a great opportunity to relax and unwind, not to mention to support a worthy cause. To all who are able to attend, have a happy holiday and good luck on those bids!
For more family-oriented entertainment the holiday jazz performance, “A Jazzy Little Christmas” will be at 8:00 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13 at Wharton Center’s Pasant Theatre. The performance will feature faculty members from the MSU College of Music’s jazz studies performing holiday favorites. The performance will be under the artistic direction of jazz bassist Rodney Whitaker.
Tickets cost $25 and can be purchased from the Wharton Center box office, at whartoncenter.com or by calling 1-800 WHARTON.
