Bob Dylan, though now really old, still legendary
Saturday night was a pretty special evening for me.
I got to see, in the flesh, the person I most respect in the music business. The greatest songwriter of all-time, in my opinion.
I’m talking about, of course, Bob Dylan.
Dylan was in Kalamazoo Saturday night to play a concert. When I heard about this concert a couple months ago I didn’t buy tickets because I didn’t think any of my friends would go.
But my girlfriend surprised me and bought us tickets anyway, which, to her credit, was great, because she’s not really a big Dylan fan.
Although he wasn’t the Dylan of the ’60s or ’70s … hell, probably not of the ’80s and ’90s either, it was still a spectacular experience.
You don’t get that many opportunities to see a legend. I got mine and now can die a happy man.
