'Scrubs' on new channel, still ridiculous

This season “Scrubs,” the popular slapstick sitcom set in Sacred Heart Hospital, will have a new home. The series moved from NBC to ABC Studios in February.

I have faith that the show’s upcoming eighth season has just as much potential as it ever has, even though season seven was not as strong as former seasons and was supposed to be its last.

But now, on ABC, the show faces competition with a show growing in popularity: “The Office.”

Choosing between “The Office” or “Scrubs” depends on your mood. If you want ridiculous voice-overs and a plethora of sexual innuendoes, “Scrubs” is first pick. If you want to watch co-workers interact awkwardly to the point of physical pain, tune in to The Office.

Both are great shows, but my original loyalties are still with “Scrubs.” I watched it first and I’ll watch it until its end — rumored to be after this season.

There also have been rumors that Zach Braff may leave the show, but what is Scrubs without the J.D. character?

Regardless, I’m looking forward to spending some quality time with Turk, Carla, Elliot, Dr. Cox, and Janitor.

How about you tell us what shows you’re excited to watch this fall? Since the fall season is right around the corner. I don’t care that Scrubs is on another channel.
